SPENCER Industrial Vacuum Units

Industrial Vacuum Cleaning & Vacuum Systems

Our custom designed industrial vacuum systems are manufactured by Spencer Turbines and Blowers, and suitable for all industrial applications.

Spencer central vacuum systems are custom – designed for each facility with a centrally located vacuum producer and dirt separator or material collector connected to a metallic vacuum tubing network. They extend “vacuum power” throughout operations of any size, providing intense cleaning power along with fume removal, liquid spill pickup, hazardous and recyclable goods collection, bulk material conveying, vacuum hold-down or pickup, etc.

Spencer has specialized in providing innovative solutions to air and gas handling problems since 1892, applying an Engineering Edge to meet the demands of industrial, municipal, institutional and commercial markets. Many of our products have broad usage throughout these fields, others are specialized, highly engineered innovations that address the particular challenges of one market.

After more than a century of problem-solving, Spencer has devised effective approaches for handling flammable gases, vacuuming bulky materials, recovering corrosive landfill gases, cleaning bus fleets, disinfecting operating rooms and much more. When you have a big task, get help from Spencer.

From bare blowers and vacuum units to custom, skid-mounted packaged systems complete with electronic controls, Spencer can engineer, manufacture and deliver equipment that will meet your specific purpose in any area.

Central Vacuum Systems

Central vacuum systems distribute vacuum power throughout facilities of any size from neighbourhood car washes to multi-acre industrial sites. They provide intense cleaning power and a lot more-fume removal, liquid spill pickup, hazardous and recyclable goods collection, bulk material conveying, vacuum hold-down or pickup. Each vacuum system is custom-designed with a centrally located vacuum producer and dirt separator or material collector connected to a vacuum tubing network.

The picture below shows a Spencer central vacuum system consisting of three Power Mizer vacuum producers connected to three tubular bag separators and three centrifugal separators provide high-velocity dust collecting from hand tools and automatic machinery at a composite manufacturing facility.

To ensure that your vacuum system is planned and sized correctly, with all the service features you want, here are some factors to consider. What types of applications do you have? Cleaning only? Any other tasks? What is the maximum number of simultaneous system users? For vacuum cleaning, what hose diameter and length will be best, based on your floor plan? (Standard hoses are 1-1/2″ or 2″ diameter and up to 50′ long.…or even longer if needed.)
